Oisín comes from a musical family, both parents have been involved in music, Oisin’s grandfather was a member of Dublin’s Palestrina Choir, along with two of his brothers they were boy sopranos from 1919 to 1921. The Palestrina Choir performs an extensive liturgical choral repertoire, Oisin carried on the tradition when he was a member of the choir in the 1990s.
Oisín is regularly to be found participating in traditional Irish music sessions, he is pictured below singing in the legendary O’Donoghues of Merrion Row, home to The Dubliners where he sang for An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny.
